We rented bikes and cycled round Lake Ohrid which involved spending a day in Albania. The weather was perfect and the scenery was great.
Some issues with Booked.net. We booked for 7 days but had to leave two days earlier. The price went down in one e-mail, then back up and now (5 days after paying for 7 days) we get an e-mail to say we only have to pay for 5 days!

Very good place for a budget traveler. The apartments are located 10min walk from the old town of Ohrid and close to the lake. It you travel by car you can park just outside on the street for free. The rooms are newly furnished and they were clean. The owners of the apartments are nice people and we liked our stay in Ohrid very much.
The signal from the WiFi in our room was weak. The walls were thin and you can hear people from the next room talking.
